Yep, just one more sleep untill we get on one of those tin cans that really shouldn't be up in the sky and could fall at any moment. Oh we're going to have fun times on the plane....not!!
Before I waffle on anymore, Jess and I would like to thank Michele for organising our placements and for just being wonderful. Also everyone else at Serve Uganda and The Dugdale Charitable Trust for letting us tag along.
We decided to go to Uganda as we felt it would be the opportunity of a lifetime to experience midwifery in a developing country. Although we've listened to and read Michele's stories, I don't think we quite know what's going to hit us when we get there. But we have open minds and are just going to go with the flow.
I have no idea how often we're going to be able to update this but i'm sure we'll have loads of stories to tell when we do. There might even be the odd photo.
We've been raising money for medical equipment and have been pleasently suprised by how much we've raised so far. Thank you.
